We use two different shopping carts on two of our sites.  For Checkmatic Credit Card Machine we use OS Commerce. OS Commerce has many features that at the time we installed it no other shopping cart could give us. WE added the meta tags to each inventory item to give better results in the search engines. This was not included and had to be added in the source code to enable us to get the better listings for different types and brands of credit card terminals and check readers

Our other shopping cart that we use on Phonechecks Software is Zen Cart. Zen Cart comes with the meta tag option built in and has that advanced ability to mask the credit card numbers after you process the orders and you can delete the CVV2 code after you process the order.

We recommend using Zen Cart on any E-commerce site now because of the features it come with. The cost of the shopping cart is free but the cost of installation, setting up categories, adding products and the secure server certificate is based on the type of certificate and number of products and categories required.

After everything is set up we can train you to add, delete, modify, run sales, email out discount coupons or you can have the option of sending us the information and we can do it for you. This can be built into your hosting plan.
